Lauren Runow is the author of multiple Adult Contemporary Romance novels, some more dirty than others. When Lauren isn't writing, you'll find her listening to music, at her local CrossFit, reading, or at the baseball field with her boys. Her only vice is coffee, and she swears it makes her a better mom!

Lauren is a graduate from the Academy of Art in San Francisco and is the founder and co-owner of the community magazine she and her husband publish. She is a proud Rotarian, helps run a local non-profit kids science museum, and was awarded Woman of the Year from Congressman Garamendi. Christ, her need was pouring off her in waves, each one of them slamming into his chest. Without breaking the connection of their mouths, Harlow reached down, yanking his shirt up just far enough to close her fingers around the waistband of his scrubs.

It took everything he had—and he really meant everything—to capture her fingers with his own and bring them to stillness. “Wait,” he said against her lips.

“No.” She grasped the hem of her sweater, yanking the heavy material up and over her head. The move made her hair wild around her face, but not enough to cover the emotion there.

“Yes.”

Harlow froze, her eyes glinting in the low light. “Connor, I want—”

“I know what you want, sweetheart. But I want something, too.”

Her brows gathered in question, and he cupped her face to answer.

“Let me in, Harlow.” He tipped her chin back, kissing the juncture where her jaw came together by her ear. “If all you want to do tonight is feel, then let me make you feel perfect. Slow down and let me make you feel everything.”

MY Review:

I have been waiting for Connor and Harlow’s book since I read the first book in this series. What’s to not like, I mean the guy promotes and reads romance novels! This means he knows what will make the toes curl and how to make a woman feel special in and out of the bedroom. Connor has been my favorite of the guys since he came on the scene and I wasn’t disappointed. Harlow is all business and has something to prove, she needs to show everyone she can do the job she loves. She has never mixed Business with pleasure and isn’t temped until she meets Connor. He is passionate about his career and loves helping people. He has close friends that are more like family. To Harlow and this reader that is very sexy! These two are drawn together by an invisible magnet that gets stronger and stronger as they get to know each other.

               I loved reading this book for a lot of reasons, one being the fact that Connor never tries to control or change Harlow’s drive. He understands her need for control. He helps her see that with him she can be in control but doesn’t have to around him. She can let her guard or second skin of armor off. You will NOT want to miss this book! MY REVIEW: 

Wendy and Rob’s story was a lot of fun to read, they both have goals in life and want to live in their terms. Neither expected to find someone they had a connection with and yet they can’t ignore it no matter how much Wendy wants to. Robs secrets eat at him which made me really like him. He wasn’t one of those people that had no morals. He knew he needed to tell her if he wanted a chance. Wendy was a great heroine in this book for her family struggle was genuine. She loved them all so much yet struggled to find a way to be her in the midst of them. Deciding her life was not to be in the family business wasn’t decided on a whim or out of resentment. She truly believed her calling was in Atlanta and that was were she needed to be. I love the strong independence she has through the whole story. Rob never tried to change who Wendy is, he is drawn to her strength and can see she is always taking care of others, this makes him want to be the one to help her. All in all I say you gotta get this book and curl up in a great spot to enjoy it!
