MY REVIEW:

               This book is a second chance romance that was fantastically done! I love this genre but sometimes the reuniting can be fast, and they tend to brush over the past Hurts. However, this is not the case with Kimberly’s newest read. Charlie and Parker were explosive once but then IT happened. They haven’t seen each other in years and Charlie never wanted to see him again. She has moved on and up and has a good life. This is a romance novel so y’all know they meet again and find that there are still feelings there. What I liked though was that They don’t fall right back into bed, they don’t pretend all is normal. There is pain and hurt that needed to be fixed and, in this book, you see the reality of how that works. Charlie and Parker are fantastic people separate and eventually they are even better as a team. I truly LOVE book one in this new series and can’t wait to read the next one!
